Hae-Sup Sin
Hae-Sup Sin (born 1991) is a Swiss-Korean director from Opfikon, Switzerland. In 2015, he began his studies at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), which he completed in 2019 with a bachelor‘s degree in 2019, followed by a master‘s degree in feature film directing in 2025. His passion is cross-cultural stories set in diasporic communities. In 2026, he was selected to represent Switzerland in the EFP Future Frames programme at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and won the Audience Award at the Palm Springs International ShortFest. He was also nominated at the First Steps Awards, a German award for debut and graduation films, in the Short Film category. He is currently working on his first feature film Some Korean Summer.
