Hae-Sup Sin
Hae-Sup Sin (born 1991) is a Swiss-Korean director from Opfikon, Switzerland. In 2015, he began his studies at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), which he completed in 2019 with a bachelor‘s degree in 2019, followed by a master‘s degree in feature film directing in 2025. His passion is cross-cultural stories set in diasporic communities. He is currently working on his first feature film Some Korean Summer.

We are very excited to share that Ban Dal (Half-Moon) will have its North American premiere at the Oscar-qualifying 2026 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival !
The festival will take place from April 30 to May 3, 2026. Ban Dal (Half-moon) will be screening in the program “Can I Borrow A Feeling?” on May 3 at 5 PM.
